2. What type of fence is right for me?

There are so many different options in material, color, and style, along with various other considerations, that the process can be overwhelming for our customers. We can help you determine the fence design that best fits your needs, desires, and budget.

3. Do you offer a warranty?

Yes! In fact, we offer several warranties depending on several factors, each one customized to fit the circumstances and type of fence. Contact us to today to find out more information!

4. Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We offer military discounts for both active and retired military. We also offer a referral discount! Contact us for more information!

5. What’s your price per linear foot?

Right now, if you pull up any random site on a search engine to find prices for fences per linear per foot for wood, etc. – and this usually includes both material and labor costs. Woods Fencing is currently setting a new industry standard!

Although we have a general “price floor” to avoid loss, which can change marginally to accommodate economic and cost of living fluctuations, unlike other companies, we do not have a “standard pricing system per linear foot” regardless of the fence type.

At Woods Fencing, we pride ourselves on our ability to customize each individual estimate to the needs, desires, and budget of that particular customer.

Customers need options!

The cost of materials, for instance, fluctuates. Prices are constantly changing, albeit marginally. We do not believe in a setting a specific price for a particular fence type due to this change. This allows us to keep costs down for our customers, as well as ourselves, without sacrificing quality of service.

6. What costs or fees do you have?

Woods Fencing never has hidden costs or fees! We believe in 100% transparency. You pay the deposit – cost of materials only – and labor. The contract details every single cost for you. You have the option of paying for the material directly, which can be done over the phone, or we can do it for you. You are not required to pay labor costs until the job is complete and to your satisfaction!  Any additional services negotiated, such as brush removal, light landscaping, and haul-off of removed fencing, may cost extra but is always discussed ahead of time during the initial consult and typically included in the labor cost estimate on the contract.

Woods Fencing will never impose hidden costs or fees!

7. Is your company on professional sites?

At this time, we are only on Thumbtack but are currently researching other professional sites, such as Angie’s List. Originally, we were also listed as a screened and approved contractor on Home Advisor. However, we were unhappy with their service and no longer use them.

8. Do you paint or stain fences?

Yes, it is a service we offer.

9. Do you offer deck or dock services?

Depending on the service you require and your jurisdiction, decks and/or docks may be considered structural matters and often require special licensing and specific insurance to cover the service. At this time, we can offer small repairs on decks or docks, such as replacing railings or dilapidated boards, if it is not considered structural as we are not currently licensed or insured for such services.

We have a network of contractors we can refer and several of our crew possess a wide range of various other skills.

10. What forms of payment do you accept?

At this time, we accept cash, check, and bank-to-bank transfers. We are setup with PayPal to receive credit/debit card payments but have been unhappy with this service in the past due to their extremely lengthy hold policies on the funds. This has posed a problem both for Woods Fencing and our customers as it delays the entire process by several weeks in many cases, which is unacceptable because many of our customers want their new fence installed within the week and Woods Fencing can have it installed in a few days.

We are currently researching alternatives for customers who wish to pay via credit/debit cards that will not only protect their personal information, which Woods Fencing holds in the highest regard, but will also release the funds in a timely manner so construction can begin immediately or as required.

Upon any payments for material deposit and labor, customers not only have that information documented on the contract but theyare also given a receipt.

11. What are your hours of operation?

Woods Fencing is always open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. We’re also open on major holidays! Yes, even Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s!

12. Do you offer emergency service?

Yes! We offer 24/7 365 emergency service!

13. How do I contact Woods Fencing?

We maintain an aggressive presence just about everywhere to ensure all of our customers have access to us anytime and regardless of the device they’re using. We’re available via telephone, email, across various social media, and here on our site! You can even chat live with us by clicking the green chat window at the bottom of our site on any page to speak directly to Woods Fencing!

Regardless of your preferred method of contact, you will always speak with a live person.
